Christmas 2009

It seems that Christmas rolls around more quickly every year and I know that the older I get, the faster time passes!!! This Christmas was wonderful with all the little people in my life!! I love having them all together and cannot wait to see our new Baby Pierce next Christmas. These children make all things in life seem so beautiful!!! I took about 10 photos and my camera died so I have to get more from the girls. We made a Birthday Cake for Jesus this year and after dinner, I gathered all the little ones together and read the Christmas Story then we had birthday cake and then opened gifts, "first things first" and Jesus must always come first at Christmas!!! Traditions are being started and I can't wait for next year!!!

Harrison turned 1!!

My precious boy Harrison turned 1 in September and had the sweetest little party!! He is truly the owner of my heart - I never had a little boy so this is so very special. But he has to share that role soon as Pierce Hayden Thompson is due in about 5 weeks - our second little boy!! Here are some photos of my little grand-man on his special day!!

Finding precious friends again!!!

My beautiful friend Sabrina has come back into my life after years and years of being apart. She still lives in Atlanta, but since finding her again in August, I am as attached to her now as I was when our girls were little and growing up together, we worked together and our girls went to the same day care!!! Wow that seems like forever ago. But one hug and we picked up where we left off and I cannot remember a time without her!!! She is beautiful, smart, funny, witty and the level head and heart that I always loved!!! She had also had a new daughter since I saw her last, Natalie - while daughter Bianca was expecting a little boy soon - and her beautiful family is perfect!!Here are some photos of us since finding each other again - and cudos once again to Facebook for that!!!

Thanksgiving Family Get-together in Gatlinburg

I have always wanted to do a family vacation in Gatlinburg so my sister Sheila and I got together and decided to just do it. I found a chalet in Gatlinburg to fit us all and enough room to cook a thanksgiving dinner and we all went. It was such a fun time and the kids loved being together in one place. It was me, Arles, Mom, Sheila, Don, Amanda, Heather, Greg, Peter and 6 little ones!!! It was such fun and I cannot wait to do it again sometime!!

About Me

My photo
I have the most amazing family and spend most of my time with them. I have twin daughters who are 32. They have given me Tessa age 4, Isabella age 3, Harrison who is 2 and Pierce Hayden who is 5 months. I also have 3 step children who have blessed me with Heath and Heather - who are almost 14, Bailey who is 13, Alyssa who is 7, Greyson who is 5 and Tinsley who is 5 months. I am a blessed Gigi!! I am a builder of custom homes and have a subdivision that I am developing, I have a Nashville vacation rental that keeps me hopping, I recently took on a beautiful new position editing and proofreading for a speaker/book writer with Psalms 31 Ministries, I am also editing a book for a beautiful Christian friend who is about ready to publish her first book, I am working diligently for the next Congressman for the 5th District in Tennessee and just recently have started campaigning for a family member who is running as an independent for the Governor of Tennessee. I travel a lot with my husband and find my most satisfying position in life is as a daughter to my amazing Mom and as Gigi to my beautiful "little people"!! Life couldn't be more busy, crazy and chaotic - and I love it!!
