Okay. If any of you ladies know how you feel in a dress, you also know how you'd feel if you collapsed in one. This past Sunday I was sitting in church listening to my awesome Pastor and started feeling really weird. He started looking a little distorted, he started sounding far, far away and all of a sudden my chest tightened, my arm hurt and my fingers were numb. I nudged Arles 2 times and I guess he thought I just wanted to touch him so I had to punch him on the leg to get his attention. I told him that something was wrong with me and I literally pulled him out of the church. To hear him tell it, he held me up all the way out to the fellowship hall, but the "witnesses" say that I did in fact pull him out. It's an amazing way God has of handling our storms. I was calm, cool and collected except that I did fall down and did cry a bit because I just didn't know what was happening to me. I still don't! After 3o hours in Skyline Hospital (taken there by ambulance - sirens and all) I found out that my heart was perfect (4 tests for that) and I have a bit of build up in my neck arteries (I'm 50, so what) and that all is well. So we move on to Neurological. Take my advice, don't go to Skyline! You might meet Dr. Goofy and his side kick Mrs. Dr. Goofy. I hope they aren't married and don't have children!
So, I left, went to my wonderful doctor, Dr. Warren Hill who ordered an MRI that insurance wouldn't pay for without "therapy" and since we don't know what therapy we are supposed to be doing we were at a standstill. So, Dr. Hill ordered anti-inflammatories, discovered that my tightness in chest is an inflammation of the chest wall and that my neck has a pinched nerve. On to my new chiropractor, Dr. Froyd at Long Hollow Chiropractic who is wonderful! I have a pinched nerve in my neck, very bad arthritis and degenerative disc disease. It is possible that a blood clot passed through the brain, or a mini stroke or who knows what else happened in my limited control during that time. Now, all is calm and I will await the results after treatment by Dr. Froyd.
Thank you so much for all prayers and please, please continue praying for Harry and his complete recovery from the liver transplant. God's blessings on you all for long and healthy lives. Also, add Bubba Willis to your prayer list. He is in Vanderbilt and is not doing well. Thank you, thank you for prayer -it works!!!
